HP USB Keys: You want malware with that?

Apparently some USB keys that are shipping as an optional add-on for HP Proliant server are including some additional "features" that no user will want. Thanks for this very helpful link! Hopefully it will save a lot of people from a major security issue. The fact that technology is advancing is both great but also can be a major pain, as it means that not only are things like security and data protection getting more advanced and more custom-made for each user, but also that hackers and those that hope to do harm to others’ systems for their own enjoyment and gain are finding better and more complicated ways to do it. It’s unfortunate that we have to check so carefully with everything we buy technology wise, etc., before installing it (and spend the valuable time going through the process of checking it!), but good that information like this as is out there and that a lot of vendors are responding to problems by providing tips and details.
